Greetings and Salutations

Hello.
If you are of the fortunate few to find my livejournal, then you probably already know me. For those poor schmucks who wandered here, allow me to introduce myself.
My name is Kevin.

That is my website. On it is an "about me" page. Read it. It won't change your life, so you needn't fear it.
I started this livejournal sometime in October 2003. From then until now, I'd only posted updates four times. Because of the lack of consistancy in my updating, I decided to scrap all of my posts and start over, with a new raison d'être.
The new foci of this livejournal will be my experiences in the Graduate program of California State University, Long Beach, my adventures in the Society for Creative Anachronism, and "generic tidbits."

So here goes. From here on in, I will assume you know who I am, and what I'm doing here. I will give backstory only if necessary, or requested. In all probability I still won't frequently update, but check back from time to time. There will be a huge update after the first of July (details forthcoming.)

Today I moved from one dorm building to another, where I will spend the next three days in relative solitude, as I wait for my graduation day. I've decided to take this time to reflect on my four years at CSU Long Beach.

When I joined the ranks of students at CSULB, I was a music major. Moreover, I wanted to be a studio musician, playing my French Horn in soundtrack recordings for major motion pictures. I actually turned down a $6000 scholarship to UC Santa Barbara, because their music program was too new, and focused exclusively on philharmonic music. Since then, I've had a plethora of experiences which have shaped my career here, and it's amazing to see how far I've come.
