I really should check things I'm given when I'm given them.

So I was recognized at the SCPMG Board of Directors' Offsite meeting two weekends ago, for helping set up the Offsite itself. I was given a Target gift card in absentia, and recieved it on Wednesday. At first, I thought it would be a piddly sum, a small pat on the back, like $25. A nice thought, but nothing substantial. I put it in my pocket where it sat until today, when I decided to look at the amount written on the inside cover of its holder. It turns out there's $300 on this card.

Let me restate that.

The Board of Directors gave me a $300 gift card to Target.

You know what? Those physicians are alright.
