1. Thank the person who tagged you. Thanks, [livejournal.com profile] theclaire. Now I'm obliged to do this meme.
2. List five random/strange/weird things about you.
ONE - Religion - I'm Jewish, I'm a minister for the Universal Life Church, and I portray a 14th century Augustinian mendicant. Go figure.
TWO - I was the Kern County Epilepsy Society Poster Child.
THREE - I developed 10 years of managerial experience by the time I was old enough to legally drink.
FOUR - I have never seen Titanic. I refuse to see it, a) because I know the ending, and b) the movie was so aggressively marketed that I was sick of it well before it came out in theatres. Oh, and if I hear one more rendition of "My Heart Will Go On," I'm going to puke blood.
FIVE - I'm working on a master's degree in Arthurian Literature.
3. Tag five other people.
No. If anyone wants to do this, go for it.

What are you going to do with that Master's degree. (Asked after knowing of lots of people with such disconnected-from-real-life graduate degrees who end up with clerical work or worse.)

Get a PhD, become a professor at Oxford, Cambridge, Edinburgh or Trinity.

You should show everyone a copy of the poster.

THAT sounds like a plan!

"the movie was so aggressively marketed that I was sick of it well before it came out in theatres."

You know, I don't really remember that much hype toward Titanic until after it came out. I remember there was hype, but all I knew was that it was a love story on the Titanic. I got sick of the DiCaprio groupies who saw it 20 times a piece, and that made me lessinclined to see it.
I confess that you broke away from the very Hollywood manipulation I have been suckered into too many times. I won't get suckered into that manipulation unless a film gets oscar attention, but that's really no better. The oscars promotes a film, and I jump on the bandwagon and see it.
Hope all is going well Kevin.
