Housing, temporary and permanent
May. 7th, 2009 10:06 amOn Tuesday, I got a phone call from my mom. "Should I be expecting a package?" she asked. I'd ordered some DVDs on Ebay at her behest, so I said "um...yes?" "Weighing over 70 pounds?" she replies. At this point, I start to get giddy, and don't need my dad's yelling "Tell him to come up here and pick up his damned tent!" to know that my Panther Regent pavilion has arrived! I still need to build poles, stakes and ropes, but I've got some new SCA housing. *happy dance*
Yesterday at lunch, I got a phone call from my realtor. The bank has signed the paperwork, and as soon as it comes through the mail, I'll be opening escrow on the Monrovia condo mentioned here. I'm very excited. Wish me luck!
