More Scottish Society Antics

You may remember Holly from a previous post. Apparently she found this journal, and was none too happy about what was in it. I come home to find this message waiting for me.
Note: As with the earlier post, this was cut and pasted in its entirety, misspellings and all. The formatting is a bit different because I'm trying out Trillian.

Now...I'm not sure why she's threatening to print out the conversation. It's posted publicly to the web, for all to see (should they choose to read under the cut) so exposure isn't a valid threat. Perhaps she wants to make me look bad in front of the Scottish Society. As I have no real interest in participating with them at the moment, this doesn't bother me in the slightest. Perhaps she wants me to feel bad about making our conversation so public. If so, she should politely ask me to take it down, or at least hide it with a filter. She has my yahoo screen name, obviously. She also has my AIM screen name, my email address, and my cell phone number, and if all else fails she can post to this journal.

That is a rather strange one, but it's not surprising that her motives are unclear. "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned." It seems to warp their neurons so that they aren't firing logically when dealing with the object of their hatred.

Speaking of Scottish, have you been there? I'm going in July/August, and am looking for suggestions.

Yes, I have been there. If you have a chance, get up to the Orkney Islands for the Solstice. There's a standing stone circle called the Circle of Brodgar. Well worth it. Also in Orkney are the Stones of Stenness and the ancient village of Skara Brae. The latter will blow you away.
If you visit Loch Ness, be sure to go into Castle Urquhart.
Edinburgh. All of it.

Thanks. I'll be flying there July 28 and back August 9, with my friend and I attending the Edinburgh Military Tattoo the evening of August 8. Those are the only concrete things in my schedule so far.

Five qualities, in descending order of importance: sanity, intelligence, beauty (mind and spirit), sense of humor, and aesthetic appeal (physical attractiveness). The further down the list you go, the less necessary the qualities get (i.e. I would consider dating someone who was sane, intelligent, and a beautiful person, but had no sense of humor or physical beauty. I would not consider dating anyone who was beautiful inside and out, had a wonderful sense of humor, but was dumb as a post and moonbat crazy.)

Honestly, I can't imagine that she really thinks you are in any way embarassed of what you said. At least, I can not fathom that you really care if someone else learns abotu it or not. Honeslty, Holly could have been a lot nicer to you in the first place. And it sounds like you were at worst, as nice to her as she has been to you.
