Pretty, pretty blue...

I just finished my undertunic for Coronation. It's BLUE linen. The warp is a vibrant turquoise, and the weft is a strong blue-purple, giving a wonderful shimmer effect, and causing every crease and drape to be a different color of blue. There's nothing faded, greyed or darkened about it; this is an in-your-face blue. And it's comfortable.

That leaves only my sleeveless surcoat to built. I'm making an heraldic surcoat in my arms (see icon) in darker gold and cream damasks. That is, I'm going to try to make an heraldic surcoat. Wish me luck, all.

How are you for me coming up tomorrow? Also, I don't know how the College's budget is handled but I told them to credit my volunteer hours to Noe.

The budget is handled by the Barony at this point, and any monies that come in from volunteer hours are sent to the Barony and are kept by the college.
As for coming up, not a problem. Just give me a call before you head up.

Schadenfreude Central, why'd you name your site that? do you think others take joy in your plight? do you take joy in the misfortunes of others? or is it cause it has such a nice ring to it? I swear only the germans could invent such a word!
