How to completely change an attitude
The drive to work was awful. Idiots were coming out of the woodwork all over the place, and deliberately trying to make my commute a living hell. It didn't help that I'd left the apartment 10 minutes later than I normally do, and every reroute I tried only made things worse. I was, in a nutshell, rather pissy when I pulled into the parking lot.
How did this change?
When I walked into Walnut Center (the building where I work), the large, imposing, ridiculously masculine security guard bid me good morning, then paused, looked me up and down, and said "dude, are you losing weight? You look fantastic!"
