Congrats! You've now been assimilated :)

If you get really interested, there's a yahoogroup (SCA Card Weaving) that has lots of info.

And if you want to be a computer geek while designing patterns: Guntram's Tabletweaving Thingy (the technical term).

I've been creating my designs in Microsoft Paint.

If you design a monochrome bitmap, it can also be imported into GTT. Of course - be prepared for the size of the image, and the number of cards it suggests.

You can also design in MS Excel, by setting the grids up to approx. 2:1 ratio. For my Pentathlon project, I found the Excel layout easier to read than the GTT setup - although I used it to do the 'designing', and then did the graphing on Excel.

Of course, right now I'm into doing stripes that aren't graphed, but are done by 'feel'.

the title is "sad bear".
The whole sad bear concept reminds me of you during your younger and more angsty phase. The fact that Sad Bear #3 is having a barmitsvah makes it better.

No, I get it (and will probably make it into an LJ icon). Where did you find it?

[Edit: I did make it into an LJ icon]
