1. Leave me a comment saying, "Interview me" or something of an equally pithy nature.
2. I will respond by asking you 5 questions of a very personal nature. Be warned!
3. You will update your LJ with the answers to the questions, or there will be trouble.
4. You will include this and an offer to interview someone else in the post.
5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them 5 questions.
[livejournal.com profile] eowyna asks:

1. So, what _do_ you do with a BA in English? I considered getting a BA in English long, long ago, but couldn't figure out what I'd do with it, so I switched to Math.
At this point, my BA in English (with a minor in Would You Like Fries With That) has been little more than a segue into my English Masters program. Otherwise, it functions as a general bachelor's degree for the purposes of finding a job. However, I'm told that if I ever wanted to do law school (and I'm still actively considering it at this time), BAs in English do better on the BAR than any other pre-law major.

2. Have you had a chance to use the Old English classes, at all?
Apart from the SCA, only in answering trivia questions and showing off my etymology skills.

3. What is your ultimate employment goal?
If you'd asked me a year ago, I would have said "professorship at Oxford" without hesitation. Having been out of classes for a year, still without my Master's due to lack of a medievalist on campus to read my thesis, I'm considering my other options. I'm considering law, and I want to get involved in politics at some level, but I don't really have an employment goal at this point, other than finding a job where I can help the community.

4. What part about heraldry interests you most?
Anything that increases pomp and pageantry. Book, voice, protocol and administrative heraldry all have something that contributes to that. It's what drew me to heraldry in the first place, and it's certainly what keeps me here.

5. Have you ever thought of writing a book? If you did, what would it be about?
I've had various books in mind over the years, including a walkthrough of college parallelling Dante's Divine Comedy. I'm still working my Caidan Herald's Compendium, but that's more compiling, editing and formatting than writing.

In a heartbeat, my dear. But you're either married or engaged, depending on who you ask, and I wonder what Svan would say.

Oh, you mean interviews!

1. What would Svan say?

2. Which of your songs are you [insert positive superlative here] with? (superlatives may include, but are not limited to, proudest, happiest, most satisfied, most amused, etc.)

3. I hate asking "me" questions, but I always think about our trip to Estrella when I hear "Highway Songs," though I know that the romantic portions of the lyrics clearly do not pertain. Anyhow, this has been on my mind for about two weeks now, so I should probably ask: have I ever at least partially inspired any of your lyrics, through word, deed, etc.?

4. What's the custom, tradition, event, or what have you that you most miss from Caid?

5. When are you coming back to Caid, and dragging your husband with you? (Please say GWW, please say GWW, please say GWW)
