4AM sewing update

yesterday, I cut, formed and stitched the surcoat. Only after finishing the last hem did I realize that my side hems were about an inch too big on either side, making the surcoat too narrow. I just finished ripping those seams out. It's now 4 AM. My current 12th night situation is as follows:
Shirt - complete.
Surcoat - In progress. To do: touch up bottom seams, stitch side seams.
Tunic - unstarted.
Pants - if I have time, I'm going to try to make a pair.
Headcovering - Any suggestions? I'd like to a avoid a hood, if at all possible.

You know that I don't have anything useful to offer, aside from my you can do it, you're the best, cheerleader speak. But I figured you could use a bit more of that.

I think you may be sol on the headgear; technicall y with that outfit you'd most likely be wearing a liripipe. You could maybe do a chaperone; I don't know how hard they are to make, though.
