Minnesota Bear with Head Stuck in Jug is Shot

I can't blame the wildlife officials for their decision. They did their best to save the poor thing, and only shot it when it posed a major public risk.

the head is stuck in a jar.....who is he going to eat? it was unnecessary to shoot to kill. they could have tranquilized it.

According to the article, they'd been trying to tranquilize or otherwise capture it for six days. And there's more danger to a bear than teeth.
